Terms & refunds
last updated 18 July 2026
Short version: you're buying access to a security-education game. Refunds are easy, the certificate has rules so it stays worth something, and the lessons are education — not a professional security audit of your app.
1. The service
VibeSolid is an interactive security-education product for developers: playable scenarios, a quiz, an arcade mode, a pre-launch checklist with audit prompts, and an optional certification exam. It is operated from the United Kingdom.
2. Accounts
Sign-in is by email and password or a password-free magic link. You're responsible for keeping your password and inbox secure; anyone who controls either may be able to access your account. One account per person. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.
3. Plans and payments
The free tier is a demo. The Full plan is a one-time purchase unlocking all base content. The Subscriber plan is a monthly subscription adding new monthly content while active. VibeSolid is the seller and Stripe securely processes the payment, subscription, and billing-portal functions. We never see your card details. Any tax required for the transaction is shown at checkout. Prices are shown before you pay; launch pricing can change for future buyers, never retroactively for you.
4. Refunds
- Full (one-time)
14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Email us within 14 days of purchase and you'll get a full refund.
- Subscriber (monthly)
Cancel any time from the Stripe billing portal in your account; access continues to the end of the paid period. We don't pro-rate partial months, but your first month is covered by the same 14-day guarantee.
- How to claim
Email support@vibesolid.app from your purchase email. Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe.
5. The certificate
VibeSolid Certified is earned by clearing the training and passing a randomized, server-graded exam. Because employers can verify it publicly, it has integrity rules: no sharing accounts to pass the exam, no automating answers, no reselling or transferring credentials. We may revoke certificates obtained by gaming the system. The certificate says you completed VibeSolid — it is not a professional qualification or a guarantee of your security skills to third parties.
6. Acceptable use
Don't attack the service (yes, we see the irony — the lessons on rate limiting and webhook forgery apply here too), don't scrape paid content, don't re-publish scenario content commercially. Personal use of the audit prompts on your own projects — including commercial projects — is exactly what they're for and is encouraged.
7. Education, not audit
The scenarios, checklist, and audit prompts are educational material. They meaningfully reduce common risks, but completing them — or passing the exam — does not mean your app is secure, and VibeSolid is not a substitute for a professional security assessment. You remain responsible for your own applications.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. The service is provided "as is"; we aim for high availability but don't guarantee it.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be dated here, and continued use after a change is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Consumers keep any mandatory protections of their home country.
